ANIL KHANNA CONTINUES AS PRESIDENT ASIAN TENNIS FEDERATION WITH A

NEWLY ELECTED BOARD OF DIRECTORS – 2017-2019

The Asian Tennis Federation held its Annual General Meeting on the 19th of November in Jakarta, Indonesia. The meeting was well attended by 30 member nations of the ATF and had representatives from the ITF. The President ITF, Mr. Dave Haggerty was present as a special invitee and the meeting had a healthy exchange of tennis developments and initiatives across Asia.

The AGM unanimously elected the new Members of the Board of Directors for the period 2017 – 2019 while Mr. Anil Khanna continues to be the President as per his tenure till 2019.

During the AGM proceedings, recognition was awarded for the exemplary services and contribution to the growth of Asian Tennis by renowned administrators from Asia and they have been appointed as the Hon. Life Vice Presidents ATF.

Newly appointed Hon. Life Vice President ATF are:

  1. Syed Dilawar Abbas Pakistan
  2. Abdul Ridha Al-Ghareeb Kuwait

Also,Mr. AlirezaKhorooshi from Iran was appointed as the Hon. Life Councillor of ATF for his services to Asian Tennis.

The ITF along with ATF recognized and awarded five nations, one from each region of Asia for their growth and development of the game in their country in the year 2017. The nations who received the awards were:

  3. Pakistan
  4. Kazakhstan
  5. Jordan
