The Asian 14&U Grade A Tournament, held in Selangor, Malaysia, from August 5-10, ended with a series of electrifying finals, showcasing the immense talent nurtured under the ATF’s initiatives. The event featured two ATF teams from South and Southeast Asia. It is ATF’s commitment to enhance participation and player development at Grade A events.

In the boys’ singles final, Southeast Asia’s Ethan Jake Frans from Indonesia emerged champion after a gripping three-set battle against India’s Varad Undre. Frans triumphed 4-6, 6-3, 6-1, securing memorable win.

The girls’ singles final saw a fierce contest between Thailand’s Chotirin Kaewka and Indonesia’s Gwen Emily Kurniawan. Kaewka claimed the title with a convincing 6-3, 6-1 win.

The winners and runners-up from this Grade A event have advanced to the Asian Junior Championship, scheduled to be held in Cambodia this September.
