Professional Journey in Tennis:

Started a distinguished career in tennis administration in 2014, initially taking on the pivotal role of Financial Director at the Kazakhstan Tennis Federation (KTF). Demonstrating exceptional leadership and strategic vision, Yuri was promoted to the position of Executive Director in 2016, a role that underscored a profound commitment to the advancement of tennis in Kazakhstan. In recognition of outstanding contributions and unwavering dedication, he was elected as Vice-President of KTF in 2019, a prestigious position he proudly holds to this day.

Elevating his influence to the continental stage, Yuri was elected as Vice-President of the Asian Tennis Federation (ATF) in 2021, marking the beginning of a transformative tenure. In 2023, he achieved a historic milestone by becoming the President of ATF, undertaking the responsibility of shaping the future of tennis across Asia with visionary leadership and an unwavering commitment to excellence.

Key Achievements of ATF:
Complete Branding and Identity Revamp:
Complete review of the ATF Branding and Identity with a New Logo, Corporate style and Anthem being introduced. ATF is the Pioneer Regional Tennis Body to have its own Anthem and Music.
Attracting Sponsorship Support:
New sponsorship money being attracted of $1.35 M, in the first year of Presidency.
Strengthening the Professional Team:
The strengthening and expansion of ATF Professional team – number of ATF team being doubled to implement the energized vision and new initiatives.
Creation of New Development Pathways:
New Development Pathway created – ATF 12&U Intercontinental stage introduced, to give additional opportunities of competition and growth to the best Asian Teams to compete with the best teams from Australia, New Zealand and Oceania.
International Collaborations:
Numerous Digital Initiatives being implemented, Live Scoring of all ATF Events, Live-Streaming of over 20 major ATF events, Energized and revamped the ATF Website and Social Networks.
Digital Transformation:
New International Collaborations and Tie-ups with the Grand Slams and Regional Tennis Associations of Africa and South America, increasing opportunity base for the Asian Tennis ecosystem and engagements with New Tennis Partners.
Roland Garros Junior Series Launch:
A new Roland Garros Junior Series launched to promote Clay in Asia and give opportunity for Asian Players to compete for the RG Junior Main Draw Wild Card.
Strengthened ATF Tour Calendar:
Stronger and more Balanced ATF Tour Calendar, working in synergy amongst the region and close partners.
Performance and Development Grants:
Introduction and distribution of Performance cum development Grants for performing players and support to the Nations as well.
